My name is Onisa Enamorado, I have a very serious problem, I suffer from periodontal disease I live on a small disability check, which qualifies me for medicaid and medicare, and 70 per month worth of food stamps I am also a veteran having been in the army 6 years and honorably discharged. I was married for about 25 years until about 9 years ago, when I was diagnosed with cancer and had a stroke and my husband at the time asked for a divorce. I lost a son to cancer more than 5 years ago, who was only 29 did not smoke or drink but died of complications that came on by his treatment, he left me a beautiful granddaughter. Right now my biggest concern and problem is that I need to have my teeth fixed I have tried every avenue but Georgia does not have much in the lines of helping a person with my problem it has taken a long time for me to get to this point to literally beg anyone to please help me get my teeth fixed, I am afraid that without getting them fixed I may wind up suffering other health problems and at this point I would like to be around for my granddaughter, since her father passed away while she was so young, but she still misses him terribly. I am begging for any help, I am desperate,. I have run out of options and have no where else to turn. My prayer is that God will guide this letter to the right hands and i will get any help that I can get to get this problem fixed before it is to late. I am real and my situation is very real, I am not the middle class I am what ever lies below the middle class that is not even mentioned in the news or is acknowledged by most. I have worked hard, I served my country , I became ill and could not work any longer . I have volunteered my time to worthwhile causes and continue to believe that there is always hope no matter how the cards are dealt. I am not asking for sympathy, I am asking for the hope that I believe is possible, every time I read or see the face of someone on the papers or TV programs who are blessed in spite of the misfortunes they have overcome. I have a veterans claim pending and am simply hoping that maybe I would qualiy for assistance to get my teeth fixed even if I do not qualify for anything else. Any advice or help would be appreciated more than you will ever know. Sincerely Onisa Enamoado 770-463-5643 Shakira787@bellsouth.net
